Dr Suzanne Barr MSc MEd RD
Director & Education Lead
Suzanne leads HercuWise where she brings her clinical, research, and educational expertise to the company. Throughout her career over the past 20+ years, her focus has been on preventive healthcare. She is Health and Care Professions Council registered and her background includes working in clinical practice, research and higher education, including Imperial College London. She is currently a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at King’s College London.
Her background in healthcare research and practice, coupled with a passion for digital learning, drives her commitment to creating educational content that is accessible, engaging, and practical.

Dr Kate Scruby CPsychol
Mental Health Lead Advisor
Dr Scruby brings invaluable expertise to HercuWise, specialising in mental health and overall wellbeing. Kate is a British Psychological Society Chartered Counselling Psychologist and a Health and Care Professions Council Registered Counselling Psychologist.
Within her clinical role, Kate worked for many years within the NHS and now works in private practice with a broad range of skills and experience of mental health conditions.
Her clinical background is also complemented by an extensive teaching and research background in the Higher Education sector.

Prof Louise Goff PhD RD
Healthcare Lead Advisor
Professor Goff is an experienced Academic specialising in the role of diet and lifestyle in the prevention and management of chronic diseases, with interests in tackling health inequalities among minority ethnic groups. She has undertaken extensive research and been involved with a number of large-scale clinical trials in these areas such as HEAL-D.
Louise also sits on the Diabetes UK Nutrition Committee, having led on the development of evidence-based guidelines for the nutritional management of diabetes in ethnic minority groups. Her insights are invaluable to HercuWise, in particular to our Preventive Health and Population Health topics.

At HercuWise, everything we create is backed by science. Our Workplace Research is led by Dr. Rachel Gibson, who produces cutting-edge academic research to tackle today’s biggest workplace health challenges. Her work is aligned with preventing ‘multifactorial work-related diseases’ as described by the World Health Organization.
Dr Gibson is a nationally recognised leader in workplace health. She currently chairs The Nutrition Society’s Workplace Diet and Health Special Interest Group and is Research Lead for the British Dietetic Association in this area.
Her expertise is widely sought, having spoken at national conferences and policy events including the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Nutrition: Science and Health, and Eurest UK’s 'Workplace Futures Forum'. Dr Gibson is a frequent speaker on shift work and nutrition, with contributions including Nursing Live (2024) and Physiology in Focus (2024).
